David Ray Hyatt, 28, a Shelbyville resident, passed away February 20, 2018 at his home in Shelbyville. He was born March 30, 1989 in Batesville to Richard Dean Hyatt, Sr. & Mary (Harmon) Glover. He was a 2008 graduate of Greensburg High School.
David had worked at Faurecia Emissions Control in Columbus for the last 2 years. He was a member of New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Columbus.
He is survived by his mom, Mary Jo (John, Jr.) Glover of Shelbyville, his dad, Richard Dean Hyatt, Sr. (Diana) of Shelbyville, a son, Jayden Allen Hyatt of Greensburg, a daughter, Keeley Ann Smith-Hyatt of Shelbyville, a brother, Richard Dean Hyatt, Jr. (Heather) of Shelbyville, step sisters, Amber (Mitch) Fields of Rush County, Victoria Leann (Skye) Gibson of Maryland, Heather (Jonathon) Moss of Shelbyville and Amanda (Stephen) Hurley of Shelbyville, grandparents, George David & Betty Harmon of Rush County, Max Hyatt of Columbus and great grandfather, Doc Matney of Rushville. David was also survived by nieces, Abbigail & Alexia Hyatt along with several other nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Hyatt.
Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Pastor Scott Harper presiding. Friends are welcome to visit at the mortuary from 12:30 PM Saturday until service time. Burial will be in the Bentonville Cemetery.
