Donald W. Jones, 80, St. Paul, passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016. He was born April 5, 1936, to Kelly Jones and Bertha Luther Jones in Greensburg.
Mr. Jones was a lifetime resident of the area.
He was a high school graduate who worked as an electrician at Knauf Insulation for 6 years.
He served with the U.S. Army in Korea.
Donald enjoyed fishing and antique cars. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
He married Patricia Hatfield Jones on April 29, 1980, and she survives.
Other survivors include his sons, Kelly (Evelyn) Jones II of Greensburg, Donald Wayne Jones Jr. of New Castle, Brandon Jones of St. Paul, James (Kelly) Jones of Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, and Travis (Jojo) Jones of St. Paul; daughters, Darlene (David) Pearl of Hartsville, and Heaven (Matt Cruser) Jones of Milford; sister, Mary Ellen Kitchin of Greensburg; and 39 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Donna McLaughlin; two granddaughters; one grandson; four brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Glenn E. George Funeral Home in St. Paul. Funeral services begin at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hebron Cemetery in Adams.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Donald Jones Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
