Donna Kay Raider, 61, a lifelong Rush County area resident, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 in Indianapolis. She was born February 12, 1956 in Rushville to Donald A. & Cora L. (Fuller) Miller. Donna Kay was a 1974 graduate of Rushville High School and also obtained her BS from Purdue University in 1978. She married Randall Allen Raider on December 21, 1990 and he survives.
Donna Kay worked as quality coordinator for Emerson East and had worked with Copeland/Emerson for 25 years. She loved animals and was actively showing Tibetan Spaniels. She had also served as a Leader in 4H.
In addition to her husband, Randy, of Glenwood, she is survived by her step daughters, Angel R. Thomas of Milroy and Stacy Ann (Danny) Dixon of Rushville, a brother, William Miller of Glenwood, a sister, Sharon (Orvil) Buckley of Glenwood and Mammers babies, Zane Followell, Tabby Gurley, Dillon Thomas, Shyann Thomas and Leeann Campbell. In addition to her parents, Donna Kay was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Fey and a sister-in-law, Karon Miller.
There will be a celebration of Donna Kay's life at 6 PM on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Rev. Rob Edwards presiding. Friends are welcome to visit from 3-6 PM Friday at the mortuary. Cremation will follow service and burial will take place later in the Orange Cemetery.
