Dorine A. Rosfeld, 82, a long time Rush County resident, passed away peacefully on Jan. 20, 2017, at her home in Rush County with her loving family by her side. Dorine was born Feb. 12, 1934, in Decatur County to the former Joseph B. & Agnes (Butz) Hoeing. She was a 1952 graduate of Sandusky High School. She married Paul Rosfeld on Nov. 22, 1956, and he survives.
Dorine was a loving wife, mom and friend. She was an awesome cook and enjoyed watching IU games, ceramics and working in her vegetable and flower gardens. She had been a long-time member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville.
She is survived by her husband, Paul, of Rush County; her children, Roger Rosfeld (Deb Wagner), Denise (Ed) Small and John P. Rosfeld all of Rushville, Philip Rosfeld and Mary Rosfeld both of Indianapolis; siblings, Jerry (Kathleen) Hoeing of Greensburg, Alfred (Millie) Hoeing of Greensburg, Delores Bruns of Greensburg, Sheldon (Mary) Hoeing of Rushville, Marieda (Jim) Koors of Greensburg and Carroll (Dottie) Hoeing of Greensburg; grandchildren, Jenna Rosfeld, Stephanie Small and Eddie (Beth) Small; and great-granddaughter, Charlotte Small.
Dorine was preceded in death by son-in-law, Steve Wesley; brothers, Marvin and Maurice Hoeing; sisters-in-law, Mildred and Rosie Hoeing; and brother-in-law, Robert Bruns.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville with Rev. Jeremy Greis presiding. Friends are welcome to visit from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Moster Mortuary, Rushville where a Rosary will be recited around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary Catholic Church or Southern Care Hospice.
