Evelyn (Burton) Ksionek, 93, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017. She was born July 21, 1923, in Rush County, daughter of Carvel and Malinda (Oldham) Burton.
Born in raised in Rush County, she was a former resident of Skokie, Illinois for 27 years. She had also been a Westport resident from 1992-2009.
She worked for Radiant Mfg. Company and retired from ITT Bell & Gossett Company in 1990.
She married Marion "Mike" Ksionek on Sept. 25, 1989, in Iowa City, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 2000.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Debbie) Williams of Kingman, Arizona, Michael (Toni) Williams of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Marion Douglas (Jan) Williams and James Williams, both of Streamwood, Illinois; daughters, Donna Rodrigeuz of Des Plaines, Illinois, Renee (Jesse) Casillas of Chicago, Illinois and Tina (Steve) Swanson of Evanston, Illinois; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters, Sharon Branscum, Joan Hollander and Darlene Barger; son, John Dale Williams; sisters, Juanita Padgett and Lucille Burton; brothers, Roy, Charles, Glen, and Carvel Burton, Jr.; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until the start of funeral services at noon on Friday, Jan. 6 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Burial will follow at Westport Cemetery.
