Freida Mae Weber, 91, formerly of Greensburg, Indiana passed away on September 15, 2017, at Williams County Hillside Country Living in Bryan, Ohio. She was born on August 14, 1926, in Ripley County, the daughter of Wilbur and Alvina (Ehlers) Schaffer. Freida married Claude Weber on January 3, 1946 and he preceded her in death on June 5, 2006. She worked in Home Health Care and was a Lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary, the Pythian Sisters, both the Decatur County and Ripley County Historical Society, and was a member of the St. Johns Lutheran Church of Napoleon, Indiana.
Survivors include: Claude (Sandy) Weber, Jr. Kansas City, Missouri; Raymond (Cecilia) Weber of Independence, Missouri; and James Weber of Olympia, Washington; Grandchildren- Christopher Weber and Courtney Weber. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; Sister- Mildred Faulhaber; Granddaughter- Tracy Weber; Step Mother- Julia (Piltz) Schaffer; and Step Sister- Ruth (Piltz) Sullivan.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral at 12:00 pm.
