Irvin L. Hardebeck, 92, Millhousen, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg.
Born June 11, 1924, in Millhousen, he was the son of George and Rose (Redelman) Hardebeck.
Irvin had farmed and was a handyman for several years. He was a former member of the Knights of St. John in Millhousen and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
He was married to Elsie M. Lecher on Sept. 16, 1948, and she preceded him in death on July 28, 2013.
He is survived by his sons, Patrick Hardebeck, Millhousen, Phillip Hardebeck, Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Arthur Hardebeck, Chicago, Illinois; sisters, Clara Marie Wagner, Osgood, Eleanor Stephanic, Colorado; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Jane Ann Hardebeck; brothers, George, Maurice, Edward, Leonard, Carl, and Raymond Hardebeck; sister, Geneva Tunny.
Family and friends will gather at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15 for a rosary service at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home. Visitation will follow until 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral. Funeral mass begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 16 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen with Rev. Bill Turner. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen.
