Janice R. Bradshaw, 75, Bloomington, formerly of Westport, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016. She was born Dec. 30, 1940, in Butlerville, the daughter of Glen and Dorothy (Poling) Leahigh.
She graduated from North Vernon High School in 1958. Born and raised in Butlerville, she had been a Westport resident for 45 years and had lived in Bloomington for the past eight years.
She married Marshall Bradshaw in Butlerville on May 21, 1960, and he survives.
Janice retired from Cummins Engine Company in 2008, after 50 years of service.
She was a member of Westport Baptist Church and Stoneridge Baptist Church.
Janice had a traveling group of friends who worked and enjoyed traveling together for more than 30 years.
She is survived by her husband, Marshall Bradshaw, Bloomington; daughters, Pam (Greg) Stone, Scottsdale, Arizona, and Jenise (Scott) Roane, Bloomington; sons, Greg (Denise) Bradshaw, Fort Wayne and Jon (Cheri) Bradshaw, Zionsville; brother, Larry (Sandy) Leahigh, North Vernon; and grandson, Lance Bradshaw, Zionsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Shirley Ponsler.
The family will receive visitors from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5 at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Funeral services begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the funeral home with Pastor Andy Gaschke and Rev. David A. Scaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Butlerville Cemetery.
