Jerry Wayne Hoban of Decatur County, Indiana passed away Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Aspen Place in Greensburg, Indiana. He was born November 12, 1930 in Shelby County, Indiana to parents, LeRoy and Mary Hoban, both deceased.
Wayne served in the Korean War. He was a lifelong farmer in Rush and Decatur Counties. He enjoyed fishing in the river on the farm and watching sports on the television.
Wayne is survived by caregiver and nephew Tim (Kathy) Kuhn of Milroy, Indiana. Special thanks to Steve (Kate) Carlie and Claire Kuhn of Milroy, Indiana, Brooke (Jason) and Penelope Ralstin of Terre Haute, Indiana and Nikki (Kevin) Reed of Greensburg, Indiana for visits and help when needed.
He is also survived by sons, Jeff (Lisa) Hoban of Aurelia, Iowa, Mark Hoban of Blue Ridge, Indiana and Cathy Hoban of Columbus, Indiana, his twin sister, Martha Jane (Meredith) Kuhn of Milroy, Indiana, a brother, Norman Max Hoban of Greensburg, Indiana, a sister, Joan Neff of Sebring, Florida and a step-sister Laura Barker of Ocala, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Wayne was predeceased by step-brother, Randall Hoban and Marshal Hoban.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2018, 10:00 am at the Moscow Cemetery, Moscow, Indiana. Burns Funeral Home in Milroy, Indiana is in charge of the arrangements.
