Jon's Story

Dr. Jon C. Finley, 57 of Westfield, passed away Sunday December 24, 2017. Jon was born April 16, 1960 in Greensburg, In. to the late Roger and Jean (Plummer) Finley. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School, Wabash College and Indiana University Medical School.
Jon was a neurologist at IU Health and early in his career he also participated in research done at Mayo Clinic. Jon is highly regarded by his colleagues and friends for his selfless dedication and never failing to reach out to those in need. His personality and kindness were enjoyed by many. He loved cycling, adventures outdoors and time with his sons. Jons legacy will live on in the lives he touched with his unconditional high regard for all.
Jon is survived by his sons Ben C., Ian M., Mathew D., and Nathan T. Finley; former spouse, Michele A. Finley; sisters, Janalyce Willis (family Wayne, Emily and Sarabeth) and Marybeth Herbert (family Randy, Betsy and Carrie).
Visitation is offered on Saturday, December 30 from 10:00-12 noon at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with a noon funeral mass to follow.
