Phyllis Anne Barrett, 78, of Greensburg went home to her heavenly Father Saturday October 7, 2017 at her residense.
Born August 26, 1939 in Madison County, Ky., she was the daughter of Dewey Hardy and Maude Reynolds
Keplinger. She married Claude Barrett October 8, 1955 and he preceded her in death August 14, 1993.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family, fishing and gardening.
Phyllis is survived by children, Diana (Mark) Gearhart, Cindy (Frank Jr.) Rousey, Gary (Darlena) Barrett, Timothy
(Betty) Barrett, all of Greensburg, Tina (Scott) Hockersmith of North Vernon and Melissa Dykes of Greensburg;
13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Shirley, Norman and Curtis Hardy, all of Kentucky.
The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Rev. Keith Dover officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 10 until service time at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the service at Hawcreek Cemetery north of Hope.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Riley Hospital for Children.
