Richard Marvin Collins, 80, of Milroy, Indiana, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at Community South Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was born in Greensburg, Indiana on February 20, 1938 to late Harry R. and Leona (Mires) Collins. He retired from GECOM in Greensburg, Indiana and also worked at Delta Faucet, Reliance Electric in Columbus, Indiana, Keillor's Restaurant and was Co- Owner of Koffee Kup Restaurant. Richard enjoyed IU and Pacer basketball, Nascar, gardening and his dog Cupcake. He married Darlene Wildey September 8, 1987 and she preceded in death, January 21, 2008. Survivors include his daughters, Brenda (Jeff) Kelso of Greensburg, Indiana, Darlene Collins of Shelbyville, Indiana, Elaine (William) Parrish of Greensburg, Indiana. His son Mark (Bonnie) Collins of Greensburg, Indiana. His sister Linda Fowler and Nephew Darrin Fowler of Sandusky, Indiana. Aunt Hazel Moore of Greensburg, Indiana. He also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, great grandson Kadyn Hogg, nephew Jim Fowler and brother-in-law Don Fowler.
Visitation at the Burns Funeral Home, Milroy, Indiana, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
