Robert Nathan "Bob" Wright, 74, of Miller, Missouri, formerly of Burney and Shelbyville, Indiana, passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at his residence.
Bob was born Aug. 19, 1943, to Willard Wright and Edna (Sharp) Wright in Decatur County.
Bob graduated from Burney High School in 1961. After graduation he worked at KCL in Shelbyville for many years. He then moved to Miller, Missouri, and worked in the stone quarry. Upon his retirement he returned to Greensburg/Shelbyville area for a few years before returning to Missouri.
He is survived by his brothers, George (Doris) Gearhart, of St. Paul, James Gearhart, of Shelbyville, Mark (Diana) Gearhart, of Greensburg, Rick (Teresa) Gearhart, of Columbus, and Adrian Gearhart, of Florence, Kentucky; sisters, Rebecca Gearhart, of Shelbyville, Mary Deweese, (Jim Romero) of Geneva, Edith Scott, (David Rutherford) of Geneva, and Louella (Tim) Hirschauer, of Shelbyville. Bob is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Allen Gearhart; and brothers, Allen Eugene Gearhart and Larry "Moe" Gearhart.
The family is having a memorial service for Bob from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Burney Fire Department in Burney with Pastor Keith Dover officiating.
