Terry Lee Burton, 68, of Greensburg, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 in Shelbyville.
Terry was born on March 5, 1949 in Bethleham, In. to Glen E. and Leon Mae (Singer) Burton.
Terry graduated from Sandcreek High School in 1967. He went to work for Federal Mogul in 1967, which later became NTN-BCA, and he worked there until 2004. He then went to Ivy Tech for 2 years to get his Associate Degree in Computer Science. He worked for Valeo in Greensburg from November of 2006 until June of 2007 and then went to work for Triumph Controls in Shelbyville in 2007 and worked there until retiring in 2014. Terrys favorite pastime was going fishing with his brothers.
Terry married Linda L. Koetter on November 22, 1969 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Greensburg.
Terry is survived by his wife, Linda Burton, Greensburg, two sons, John (Amy) Burton and their children, Marissa and Lia Burton, all of Indianapolis, Tony (Kelly) Burton and their children Whitnye and Luke Burton, all of Westport, three brothers, Donald (Beverly) Burton, Greensburg, Mark Burton, Greensburg, Danny (Pat) Quiles, Iowa City, Ia., and one sister, Frances Midge Wilson, Greensburg.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, John and Chester Burton.
A rosary service will start at 4:45 pm on Wednesday followed by visitation from 5-7 pm at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.
A funeral mass will be held at 9 am on Thursday, December 21 at St. Marys Catholic Church with Rev. John Meyer officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
