Greensburg, Indiana - Alice Marie Powers, 93, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. She was born on February 25, 1932, in Greensburg, the daughter of Lafayette and Leora (Clark) Alexander.

Alice attended Greensburg High School. Shortly after, she married the love of her life, Robert E. Powers. Together they shared many wonderful years and raised two children, Vickie and Michael.

Alice will be remembered for her warm heart, kind spirit, and love of family. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, singing at her church, and spending time with her loved ones. She was a proud member of the Eastern Star and a devoted member of Clarksburg Christian Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Tucker; her son, Michael (Susie) Powers; her grandchildren, Vanessa Miller, Chris White, Melinda Powers, and Marcia Powers; and her great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Brianna, Leanna, and Jacob; three great great grandchildren; special friend, Judy Greer.

Alice was preceded in death by her father, Lafayette Alexander; mother, Leora Wettering; sister, Mary Ann Phillips; and brother, Sherwood Alexander.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, Friday November 7, 2025 from 10:30 am until the time of the funeral at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Clarksburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clarksburg Christian Church or to the First Baptist Church. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
