Cindy L. Rousey, 61, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Eskenazi Hospital.

Born on October 25, 1959 in Greensburg, Cindy was the daughter of Claude and Phyllis Hardy Barrett. She married Frank Rousey on August 30, 2008.

Cindy was currently employed at Benchmark Family Services for 15 years. Previously, she had worked at Odd Fellows Nursing Home for 16 years.

She attended Sandcreek Baptist Church.

Cindy loved her family and spending time with them. She also enjoyed Bingo, painting, and doing other crafts.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Rousey of Greensburg; step-children, Wendi Rousey of Missouri and Christopher Rousey of Greensburg; three granddaughters; one grandson; siblings, Diana (Mark) Gearhart of Greensburg, Tim (Betty) Barrett of Greensburg, Tina (Scott) Hockersmith of North Vernon; and Missy Dykes of Greensburg; sister-in-law, Amy (Randy) Geise of St. Paul; and several nieces and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donnie Barrett and Gary Barrett; sister-in-law, Darlena Barrett; and nieces, Vickie League and Claudia Hockersmith.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Dover officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Milford Cemetery.
