Connie Kay Cameron Obituary

Connie Kay Cameron, 78, a life long Rushville resident, passed away December 4, 2024. Connie was born December 19, 1945 in Rushville to Roy E. & Mabel (Barnard) Lee. She married Floyd Cameron July 5, 1963 and he survives.

Connie owned & operated Connie's Hair Fashions & Tanning for 20+ years in Rushville.

She loved taking care of her family and always enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren. Connie was an excellent cook and also loved to bake.

She will be missed by her husband, Floyd of Rushville, sons, Rick (Susan) Cameron of Rushville, Greg Cameron of Greens Fork, IN and Gary (Amie) Cameron of Rushville, daughter, Lori (Mark) Owens of Indianapolis, brother, Billy Joe Lee of Rushville, grandchildren, Trey (Mallory) Cameron, Nicole (TJ) Herbert, Scottie Cameron (Sarah Everhart), Liana Hammond (Jeremy Payton), Jalen Jacobs, Chelsi Jacobs (Keanu) Gilmore, Ryan (Alysa) Cameron, Amanda (Jason) Scheiderer, Rachel Cameron and Danielle Cameron, 13 great grandchildren + 1 on the way. Connie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nancy Ann Lee.

Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Moster Mortuary, Rushville with Pastor Darryl Cooper presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from Noon until time of service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rushville Animal Shelter.
