Rushville, Indiana - Della Ann (Little) Treneer, 80, passed away on November 6, 2020 in Rushville, Indiana at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph Maurice (Bill) Treneer. They were married on October 12, 1978 and he preceded her in death on May 14, 1990. She was born on June 27, 1940 in Beattyville, Kentucky to Martin Little and Lucy Whicker Little.

Della was an administrative assistant in Governor Handley's office and other places in Indianapolis. After her marriage to Bill Treneer, they moved to Blowing Rock, North Carolina where they owned and operated The Alpine Village Inn motel until Bill's death. Della then returned to Indiana and resided in Metamora where she owned and operated the Robin's Nest Inn. Due to health reasons, she moved in with her sister Dru and resided in Rushville until her death.

Della loved Christmas and spoiled her many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was a real beauty inside and out having won several beauty contests. Among them, Miss Downtown Sertoma of Indianapolis and she was first runner up for Miss Indiana in the Miss Universe pageant in the 50's. Her hobbies included a passion for reading and she had read all of the Agatha Christie books. She also loved to travel and most importantly spending time with her family. She was a great cook and was always taking meals to shut-ins. She was a member of the Buena Vista Christian Church.

She is survived by: brothers James Little, JR. Robbins (Mary) , JD Robbins, sisters Jeannette Stiers, Dru Cox, Connie Robbins (Bob), Wanda Welch (Mike), several nieces/nephews & great nieces and great nephews and great friends Michael & Caroline Shadle. Along with her husband Bill Treneer, she was preceded in death by her father Martin Little and mother Lucy & step-father Wilmer Robbins Sr. a brother Bert Little, sisters-inlaw Bonnie Little and Hope Little, brothers-inlaw Lewis Stiers and Price Cox.

Services will be held at Burns Funeral Home in Milroy, Indiana on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Viewing will be 10:00-11:00am with services immediately following. John Johnson of Buena Vista Christian Church will be the officiant. Burial will be in the East Brook cemetery.
