Elizabeth A. Kinnett Jenkins
Elizabeth A. Kinnett Jenkins, 75, of Greensburg, passed away at 4:45 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg. She was born on July 5, 1943 in Batesville, the daughter of Willard Lester & Helen Loraine (Sanders) Monroe. She was raised in Batesville, and was a former resident of Decatur County and Auburn, Nebraska. Elizabeth was a homecare aide for the elderly and a homemaker. She was a member of the Pilgrim Nazarene Church in Greensburg. She enjoyed camping, gardening, canning, crocheting and spending time with her family and grandbabies. She married Robert E. Kinnett, Sr. on August 10, 1962 in Osgood and he preceded her in death in August 25, 1986. Survivors include her husband, Ken Jenkins of Auburn, Nebraska; sons, Robert E. Kinnett, Jr. of Greensburg and William L. (Charmaine) Kinnett of Westport; her sisters, Loretta Jean Reese of Phoenix, Arizona and Linda Virginia Lee Cekil of Warner Robbins, Georgia; her 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was prededed in death by her parents; husband, Robert E. Kinnnett, Sr.; son, Thomas Lee Kinnett and sister, Wilma Faye Dunn. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Don Bates officiating. Burial will follow at the United Methodist Cemetery in Batesville. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
