Rushville, Indiana - Frank Donald Edwards, 94 at Aspen Health Campus in Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026. He was born on June 30, 1931 in Manilla, Indiana. Frank was the son of Olin Tives (Fat) Edwards and Frances LaNelle Krammes.

He graduated Manilla High School in 1950. He worked on the family farm until joining the Marines in 1952 to his discharge in 1954. Frank married Bettie Joan Hileman Holland on July 21, 1956. His favorite past times were building wooden models of round barns, doll house, bridges, puzzles. In his younger days he was a coon hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He was very active in the Rushville Senior Center and Presbyterian Church with his wife. Frank loved IU, Purdue and Pacers basketball.

Frank is survived by his children Frank Olin Edwards of Rushville, Paul (Deidre) Hawkins of Greensburg, Deanna Gwinnup of Rushville and Rick Patrick Edwards of Logansport. Loved by his five grandchildren, Daniel (Angie) Hawkins of Greensburg, Anthony (Barbara) Martin of Greensburg, Dustin (Erica) Gwinnup of Falmouth, Rick Michael and Alec Edwards of Logansport; nine great-grandchildren, Kaleb (Tabby) Lee, Ethan and Alan Hawkins, Abby Merritt, Rize Edwards, Piece and Penelope Martin, Kynley and Deacon Gwinnup; three great-great grandsons, Lynkin, Waylon and Kison Lee.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife, eight brothers and sisters, Betty Barrie, Annebelle (Vernon) Newton, Edna (Dale) Durbin, Clara Jo (Phil) Kilgore, Caroline Brinkman, Ralph (Jean) Ewards, Dallas (Patty Jo) Edwards, Lynn (Carrie) Edwards and nephew, Scott Edwards and niece, Debbie Barrie.

He was a beloved uncle, great-uncle, neighbor and friend to many. Never met anyone he didn't like.

Services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 1:30 PM in Moster Mortuary with Pastor John Wall presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from Noon until the time of service in the mortuary. Burial will be held in East Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Our hospice of Southern Indiana.
