LaChrista Dawn Klosterkemper
October 13, 1958 - April 17, 2025
LaChrista Dawn Klosterkemper, 66, of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025 at Our Hospice of Columbus. Born on October 13, 1958, in Shelbyville, Indiana, LaChrista was the daughter of Max and Arlene Parker Bridgford. She was a graduate of Franklin Central High School. LaChrista spent her career as a secretary at Cummins in Columbus, Indiana. She was a devoted member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
LaChrista's greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother to Eric and Jarrad, and a cherished grandmother. Her family meant everything to her, and her selfless nature and unwavering devotion to them will never be forgotten. She had a passion for crafting and collecting Willow Tree angels, both of which reflected her gentle spirit and love for beauty in all its forms.
LaChrista is survived by her sons, Eric Klosterkemper and Jarrad (Ann) Klosterkemper; grandchildren, Ryder, Julianna, Ava, Roman, and Fritz; siblings, Harvey (Beth) Bridgford, Tracie Wilson, and Tandy (Mark) Lewis; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Whitney Bridgford.
A rosary will be prayed at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, followed by visitation from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, officiated by Father John Meyer. Burial will follow at Acton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church. Online condolences can be made at www.Gilliland-howe.com.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
