Lorene Harrison
Lorene Honeycutt Harrison, 79, of Milton went home to be with her Lord Monday, February 10, 2020, at Reid Heath, Richmond. She spent several months as a resident at Arbor Trace Senior Living but her home was always with her husband Jack L. Harrison.

Lorene will be remembered for her selfless heart and friendly nature. Lorene always sparkled with her perfectly paired outfits and elegant presence. Lorene never knew a stranger and warmly welcomed everyone into her arms with a shining smile. She will be missed by many but her kindness will be felt forever.

One of three children of Andrew and Ollie VanWinkle Honeycutt, Lorene was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 10, 1940.
On April 20, 1957, Lorene married the love of her life Jack L. Harrison in Jellico, Tennessee. For 62 years, they lived a loving life full of adventures, enjoying meals together and holding hands through all life's mountains and valleys.

Lorene moved to rural Milton in 1974 and was a waitress at Marnella Restaurant for several years. She also was employed at Sperry Rubber for five years and Stant Manufacturing for 38 years, retiring in 2002. Lorene was a beloved member of the Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home family for many years. Her delightful presence greeting guests at the door will be sadly missed.

A faithful member of Connersville Baptist Temple, Lorene enjoyed going to church and attending Women of Wisdom Sunday school class and Senior Saints activities. She was a member of AARP, Red Hat Society, Red Cross, Fayette Regional Hospital Auxiliary, and served on the board of the Fayette County Senior Citizen Center. In her leisure time, she enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family, and taking care of her special brother, Herald Honeycutt.

Besides her husband of 62 years, Jack Harrison, survivors include a son, Larry E. (Susan) Harrison of Greendale, Indiana; two grandchildren, Lauren E. Harrison and Alexander M. Harrison; a brother, Andrew (Dolores) Honeycutt of Westport, Indiana; and a niece, Stephanie Costa.

Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Herald Honeycutt, nephew Kevin Honeycutt and several aunts and uncles.

Lorene will have Donny Bowles, Dale Bowles, Brian Harrison, Stanley Harrison, Greg Moles, and Kenny Neal as pallbearers.

Family and friends may call from 11 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Reverend Dale Christian, Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Troy, Ohio will officiate. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.
