Rushville, IN. - Marian L. Miller, 96, of Rushville, Indiana, passed away on June 8, 2025, at her granddaughter's home in Homer, Indiana. She was born on March 30, 1929, in Mooresville, Indiana, to Albert and Christena (McCreary) Frederick. Marian married Robert M. Miller on October 30, 1949; he preceded her in death on August 13, 2017.

Marian worked for many years at Rushville National Bank, serving in several roles during her tenure, with most of her time spent as a teller.

She was a longtime member of Main Street Christian Church and enjoyed active involvement with the Order of the Eastern Star - Martha Poe Chapter, and Kappa Kappa Sigma. Marian was also a charter member of the Rushville Roadrunners Square Dance Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise (Mike) Thompson of Greenfield; daughter-in-law, Yolanda "Lannie" Sue Miller of Knightstown; and son-in-law, Dan Scott of Homer. Marian is also survived by her grandchildren: Kristena (Travis Weitzel) Scott, Kamille (Mark) Herbert, Marcus (Kelli) Scott, Josh (Lane) Wall, Kayla (Jason Nowell) Perry, and Klaryssa (Jake) Fair; 14 great-grandchildren (with one on the way); and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Dennis David Miller, her daughter Karen Sue Scott, two brothers—Norman and James Frederick—and her sister, Patricia Dawson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Moster Mortuary, with Pastor Bill Worrell and Pastor Chip West officiating. Visitation will be held the same day from 11:00 AM until the time of service. An Eastern Star service will begin at 12:45 PM. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Rushville.

Memorial contributions may be made in Marian's memory to Main Street Christian Church or the Rushville Animal Shelter.
