Ruth  Beljan
Ruth Beljan, 82, of Greensburg, passed away at 9:25 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Morning Breeze Community and Health Care in Greensburg. She was born on July 27, 1937 in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of Jerry & Dessie (Hicks) Logston. She was raised in Brown County, was a past resident of Columbus and had lived in Decatur County the last 20 years. She retired from Cracker Barrel in Shelbyville in 2018. Ruth was a member of the Bethel Apostolic Church and liked to attend the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle. She enjoyed crocheting, loved to cook and enjoyed her grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Jerry (Diane) Gearhart of Athens, Alabama; Randy Gearhart and Tim (Rattana) Gearhart both of Greensburg; sisters, Lois Noblett and Carol Rudicel both of Columbus and Fern Reeves of Poland; brother, Henry Logston of Columbus; 20 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy Gearhart; granddaughter, Ruthie and great grandson, Hanley. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020 at the Haw Creek Cemetery in Hope, Indiana. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. I worked with Ruth at Cracker Barrel....what a special lady and an inspiration with anyone that she met...I sure will miss that sweet smile....RIP Ruth....💕🙏😪

Ruth was one of the best coworkers I’ve ever had at Cracker Barrel she taught me a lot. She was the strongest person I ever meet and never gave up.
