Steven "Coxy" R. Cox Obituary

Steven R. "Coxy" Cox, 68, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Four Seasons Healthcare.

Steve had retired from Cummins as a mechanical technician. He was a lifetime member of Stoney Lonesome Motorcycle Club, member of Eagles Lodge, and Gold Wing Road Riders Association - Chapter W. He enjoyed motorcycles and watching NASCAR.

Born on July 18, 1952 in Greensburg, Steve was the son of Clayton and Freida Lawson Cox.

Survivors include son, Aaron (Fiance, Michele Zurface) Cox of Columbus; step-daughters, Kimberley Milligan and Angie Watson, both of Columbus; step-grandchildren, Jennifer Watson, Brook (Levi) Bowers, and Megan Watson; several step-great and great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Debbie Cox of Hope; nephew, Glendon (Sarah) Cox; niece, Morgan (Ryan) Thayer; companion, Dianna Mohr of Mt. Auburn; one great-niece and one great-nephew.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Mike Cox.

A private service will be held at Norman Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
