Suzanne Kay Thomas, 67, of Columbus, passed away June 14, 2016, at her home.
Suzanne was born Nov. 6, 1948 in Batesville, the daughter of Ellsworth and Norma Jean Corson Morton. She married Darrell Thomas on October 26, 1965.
Suzanne loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and she never missed going to one of their sporting events. She enjoyed to crochet, and never met a stranger. Suzanne was always willing to help anyone she met.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, 3855 25th Street, Columbus, Indiana, with the Rev. Tom Holt officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2016 and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be at St. Paul United Methodist Cemetery in Sunman, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to donors choice of charities through the funeral home.
Survivors include husband, Darrell Thomas, Columbus; son, Jim Thomas of Greensburg; Nikki (Isaac) Webster of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Blake and Brooke Thomas, and Kobe Webster; great-grandchild Mason Thomas; brothers Robert (Jane) Morton of Greensburg, and Brian (Kelli) Morton of Hamilton, Ohio; sisters Diana (Jerry) Ertel of Batesville, Debbie (Mike) Tower of Naples, Florida, and Ginger (Mike) Troxell of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Ellsworth and Norma Jean Corson Morton; and brother, Billy Morton.
