Milroy, IN. - William "Bill" Morgan, 88, of Rush County, passed away on July 29, 2026. Born on August 5, 1937, in Rushville, he was the son of William C. & Rosanna (Lower) Morgan. Bill was a 1955 graduate of Rushville High School. On June 4, 1955, he married Joanna Terhune, who preceded him in death on June 13, 2012.

Bill spent his entire life farming in Rush county, a profession he loved and dedicated himself to wholeheartedly. He was a faithful member of Milroy United Methodist Church and served on the Anderson Township Advisory Board.

Bill and Joanna shared a love of travel and especially enjoyed taking trips to the western United States. Family was at the center of Bill's life. Some of his happiest moments were spent gathering with loved ones at the family pond, creating countless treasured memories that will be cherished for generations.

Bill is survived by his children, Angie (Rick) Bills, Jeff (Rita) Morgan and Scott (Melinda) Morgan, all of Milroy, grandchildren, Jenson (Kelly) Morgan of Rush County, Josh (Melissa) Morgan of Shelbyville, Jeremy (Melanie) Morgan of Rush County, Dustin (Candace) Bills of North Carolina, Chad (April) Bills of Noblesville, Phillip (Jamie) Morgan of Rush County, Zach (Tavia) Morgan of Rush County, and Blaec Morgan of Rush County; and great-grandchildren, Cohen, Hudson, and Emersen Bills; Hanna, Ava, and Caden Bills; Jack and Gus Morgan; Trisha and Kelsey Morgan; Kenley and Kendyl Morgan; and Will, Audrey, and Allie Morgan.

In addition to his wife, Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his son, William "Doug" Morgan; his grandson, Joseph Ryan Bills; his sister, Rachel Whittemore; two nephews; and a niece.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Milroy United Methodist Church or to the donor's favorite charity.

A private celebration of Bill's life will be held at the convenience of the family.
